Eilley, Queen of the Comstock is Sari Lisa Armington's opus.
Sari Lisa Armington was raised in Northern California. She studied at UCLA and earned her degree in English Literature and Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She began her film career as lead script analyst at Miramax, then returned to San Francisco as Director of Development at Metapictures, a film development and distribution company.
With her first husband and business partner, Nicholas Armington, she founded Alchemedia Ltd. Their first project, The Plunge: Time Laps Through History, established the company in broadcast television, and PBS gave them the green light for a documentary on the American comic strip. Nicholas died before it was finished. Sari carried the work on and, with Michael Greene, completed The Folks Behind the Funnies, endorsed by the National Cartoonists Society.
Sari created the original screenplay for Eilley, and she and Michael wrote the series together.

Michael Greene is a Red River Métis documentary filmmaker and producer, and the head of Armington-Greene Productions. He studied History, Psychology and Sociology at McMaster University and, before filmmaking, launched ventures in media distribution and technology. His documentary work includes The Folks Behind the Funnies, now in distribution, and The 408 Story, in pre-production.
Sari's dream for this project has been carried forward by her husband and partner, Michael Greene.
